Crystal Dezember
Crystal was born and raised in Utah. She attended Fremont High School where she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Brody. Shortly after their marriage, they had a son Connor who is now in high school. In her late 20’s Crystal went back to school and received her BS in Elementary Education from Weber State University. She taught at many schools but Adams Elementary was her home. In 2019, she was diagnosed with Stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. She fought for nearly two years, passing away in March 2021.
Crystal had a passion for teaching and helping others. Over the past few months, friends have shared about the countless acts of kindness and support she gave. She was always the first to volunteer, donate or stay behind to help. If you were lucky enough to be one of her friends, you would know how much she cared for everyone around her. In her selfless nature, we started this scholarship fund so her strength and caring for others will live on by giving back to those who need it.
