Remembering Crystal
Today marks a year as we commemorate Crystal and her life. A day filled with a complex flurry of emotions. There is no wrong or right way to handle the feelings that today might bring. Each person will need to do what feels right to them to help channel those feelings into something more positive and uplifting. Crystal would have wanted and expected this from all of us. No tears, no fuss, maybe a joke or 2 along the way. “Don’t make a big deal of it, say your peace and get the show on the road”, as she would say.
We choose to keep her memory alive by supporting a cause that Crystal was so extremely passionate about. A memorial fund set up in her name to help educate the teachers of tomorrow and the students of today. Through this fund, her legacy will grow with each person and child it helps. Crystal will always have a place in all of our hearts that can’t ever be filled and she deserves to be honored and cherished. Today more than any day.
